Guys, I am in need of assistance on linear equations, factoring, converting fractions and graphing function. Since I am a beginner to Intermediate algebra, I really want to learn the basics of College Algebra fully. Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can begin reading the basics? I have a midterm next week. |

I have a way out for you and trust me it’s even better than purchasing a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. With it you can solve various types of questions and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular answer. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on free online math test papers for grade 8 and I really enjoyed using it. |

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from http://www.algebra-calculator.com/solving-proportions.html after a acquaintance recommended it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my algebra homework. It’s almost like a tutor is explaining it to you. I have been using it for three months and so far, haven’t come across any problem that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it! |

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Algebra 2 and Algebra 1. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with trigonometric functions, unlike denominators and graphing. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program. |
