Hi All, I am in need of help on fractional exponents, perpendicular lines, rational inequalities and percentages. Since I am a newbie to Basic Math, I really want to understand the fundamentals of Intermediate algebra fully. Can anyone suggest the best place from where I can start learning the fundamental principles? I have an exam next week.

The attitude you’ve adopted towards the online math problems is not the a good one. I do understand that one can’t really think of something else in such a situation. Its good that you still want to try. My key to easy problem solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.

Algebrator truly is a masterpiece for us algebra students. As already said in the post above, not only does it solve questions but it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that eventual result. That way you don’t just get to know the final answer but also learn how to go about solving questions right from the first step till the last, and it helps a lot in preparing for exams.

Thanks for the detailed instructions, this sounds great. I wished for something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it on my own, not just copy the answers. Where can I find the software?

parallel lines, roots and least common denominator were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is truly the best algebra program that I have come across. I have used it through many algebra classes – Remedial Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Remedial Algebra. Simply typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my math homework would be ready. I truly recommend the program.
