factoring and expanding polynomials

Hey peeps,I was wondering if someone could help me with factoring and expanding polynomials? I have a major assignment to complete in a couple of weeks and for that I need a good understanding of problem solving in topics such as roots, percentages and fractional exponents. I can’t start my assignment until I have a clear understanding of factoring and expanding polynomials since most of the calculations involved will be directly related to it in one way or the other. I have a question set, which if somebody could help me solve, would help me a lot.

I understand your problem because I had the same issues when I went to high school. I was very weak in math, especially in factoring and expanding polynomials and my grades were poor.
