Hello everyone. I am a student in the Intermediate algebra. I like math very much since I was a kid. Unfortunately I have come to a point where I can no longer solve my algebra problems by myself. I had a algebra private teacher, who helped me for a while with my homework, but I had to pay a lot of that I had to tell him not to come anymore. Today we studied something new: subtract and simplify calculator, and when I came home from class I noticed that I can't do my math homework, and that freaked me out. I also still don't understand logarithms and decimals. What should I do now? I love math and I don't want to have bad grades.

I know how difficult it can be if you are clueless with subtract and simplify calculator. It’s a bit hard to assist without more details of your problems. But if you can’t afford a tutor, then why not just use some program and how you go. There are countless programs out there, but one you should consider would be Algebrator. It is pretty helpful plus it is worth the money.

I completely agree, Algebrator is the best! I am much better in algebra since I used it, and I have the highest grades in the class! It helped me even with the hardest math problems, like those on function definition or trigonometry. I definitely think you should try it .

Can a software really help me excel my math? Guys I don’t need something that will solve equations for me, instead I want something that will help me understand the subject as well.

I remember having problems with side-side-side similarity, triangle similarity and function range. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Pre Algebra and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

Thanks a ton for the elaborate information. We will surely try this out. Hope we get our assignments completed with the help of Algebrator. If we have any technical clarifications with respect to its usage, we would definitely come back to you again.
