I am going to college now. As math has always been my problem area , I purchased the course books in advance. I am plan on learning a handful of topics before the classes begin . Any kind of links would be much appreciated that could aid me to start studying simple algebra basics for beginners myself.

I remember having difficulties with least common measure, difference of cubes and syntehtic division. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
