Hi fellow students, I heard that there are certain software that can help with us doing our homework,like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can assist me with algebra? I have never tried one before, but they shouldn't be hard to use I assume. If anyone tried such a software, I would really appreciate some more information about it. I'm in Intermediate algebra now, so I've been studying things like third grade math and it's not easy at all.

I’m know little in third grade math. But, it’s quite hard to explain it. I may help you answer it but since the solution is complex, I doubt you will really understand the whole process of solving it so it’s recommended that you really have to ask someone to explain it to you in person to make the explaining clearer. Good thing is that there’s this software that can help you with your problems. It’s called Algebrator and it’s an amazing piece of program because it does not only show the answer but it also shows the process of solving it. How cool is that?

My parents could not afford my college fees, so I had to work in the evening, after my classes. Solving problems at the end of the day seemed to be impossible for me at those times. A colleague introduced Algebrator to me and since then I never had any problem solving my equations.

All, Thanks a lot for the replies that you have offered. I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: http://www.algebra-calculator.com/plotting-points-in-the-coordinate-plane.html. The best part that I liked was the pay back guarantee that they are extending there. I went ahead and bought Algebrator. It is really easy to handle and turns up to be a noteworthy tool for Intermediate algebra.

I remember having difficulties with decimals, side-side-side similarity and parallel lines. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
