Hello math gurus. This is my first post in any forum. I struggle a lot with free 1st grade math cd problems. No matter how hard I try, I just am not able to crack any equation in less than an hour. If things go this way, I reckon I will not be able to get through my math exam.

Your story sounds familiar to me. Although I was good in algebra for several years, when I started Algebra 2 there were a lot of math topics that seemed very hard. I remember I got a very low grade when I took the exam on free 1st grade math cd. Now I don't have this issue anymore, I can solve anything quite easily, even proportions and long division. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a tutor, because I heard of Algebrator from a friend. I have been using it since then whenever I found something complicated.

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring device but it provides solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this product is that it is very user friendly. There are several examples given under various topics which are quite useful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

A truly piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving linear equations, quadratic formula and rational equations. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
