radical form to rational form

I'm getting really bored in my math class. It's radical form to rational form, but we're covering higher grade syllabus . The topics are really complicated and that’s why I usually sleep in the class. I like the subject and don’t want to drop it, but I have a real problem understanding it. Can someone help me?

I remember having problems with factoring expressions, multiplying matrices and sum of cubes. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Remedial Algebra and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear.
