I'm getting really bored in my math class. It's are logarithms used in search engines?, but we're covering higher grade material. The concepts are really complicated and that’s why I usually sleep in the class. I like the subject and don’t want to fail, but I have a real problem understanding it. Can someone help me?

I would just add a note to what has been said above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to copy.

I remember having difficulties with algebra formulas, side-side-side similarity and parallel lines. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - College Algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
