Hello Math Gurus! I am a novice at what is variable percentage. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly, but when I start to solve the problems at home myself, I commit errors. Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step solution?

What precisely are your troubles with what is variable percentage? Can you give some more details. I remember that some time ago I too had to go through a similar period of apprehension. In my case, my desperate hunt led me to a tutor in my locality. But he was so occupied that he simply did not have the time for me. He was the one who really pointed out that now-a-days there is yet an additional solution at hand. He introduced me to these wonderful software programs in algebra.

I checked out a number of software programs before I chose Algebrator. This was the most suitable for simplifying expressions, graphing inequalities and trigonometry. It was easy to key in the problem. Instead of only giving the answer, it took me through all the steps clearing up all the way until it arrived at the solution. By the time, I reached the answer I learnt how to go about it by myself. I used the program for deciphering my problems in Algebra 2, Remedial Algebra and Basic Math in math. Do you suppose that you will like to try this out?

This sounds really interesting. How can I get hold of it? I think I can even recommend it to my friends if it is really as great as it sounds.

You can find the program here http://www.algebra-calculator.com/finding-the-equation-of-an-inverse-function.html.
