I seem to understand the lectures in the class well, but when I begin to solve the problems at home myself, I commit errors. Does anyone know of any website where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step answer?

Even I faced similar difficulties while solving 3x3 system of equations, geometry and algebraic signs. Just by typing in the problem from homeworkand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
