I am in desperate need of help in completing a homework in math a regents exam review notes. I need to finish it by next week and am having a hard time trying to work out a few tricky problems. I tried some of the internet help sites but have not gotten what I want so far. I would be really glad if anyone can guide me.

You don’t need to ask anyone to solve any sample questions for you; as a matter of fact all you need is Algebrator. I’ve tried quite a few such algebra simulation software but Algebrator is a lot better than most of them. It’ll solve all the questions that you have and it’ll even explain each and every step involved in reaching that solution. You can work out as many examples as you want to, and unlike us human beings, it won’t ever say, Oh! I’ve had enough for the day! ;) Even I had some problems in solving questions on powers and mixed numbers, but this software really helped me get over those.

I agree, resources on the internet are no better than the course books. Algebrator is a good way to start your math career.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Basic Math and Basic Math. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with y-intercept, rational expressions and y-intercept. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.

Thanks for the detailed instructions, this sounds great. I wanted something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it without any help, not just copy the answers. Where can I find the software?

Well, if it is as you say; then do visit http://www.algebra-calculator.com/division-property-of-exponents.html. This is a tool that helps people learn their math.
