I'm just wondering if someone can give me a few pointers here so that I can understand the basics of algebra in our daily life. I find solving problems really tough. I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring. Can you guys suggest any online tool that can assist me with this subject? |

It always feels nice when I hear that students are willing to put that extra effort into their studies. algebra in our daily life is not a very complex topic and you can easily do some initial work yourself. As a helping tool, I would suggest that you get a copy of Algebrator. This software is quite beneficial when doing math yourself. |

I know a couple of tutors who use Algebrator themselves to teach students. |

Thank you very much for your response! Could you please tell me how to download this program? I don’t have much time since I have to complete this in a few days. |

I remember having problems with solving a triangle, equivalent fractions and equation properties. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, College Algebra and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
